This is what you need to know about donating to a municipal campaign in Ontario:

Anyone living in Ontario and eligible to vote can donate to a municipal campaign.

You don’t have to live in the candidate’s ward, city, or region.

The total amount you can donate to any one candidate is $1,200.00.

The total amount you can donate to all candidates COMBINED is $5,000.00.
